Things To See in Tokyo Japan

Traveling by far, in my opinion, is one of the greatest hobbies there is. Not only does it give you a chance to explore new cultures and traditions but in most cases, it gives you a wide variety of experiences which help you make lifelong memories.

One destination, which stands out in Asia from all other Asian cities is that of Tokyo in Japan. This metropolitan city offers a variant kind of travel experience as not only does it boast Tokyo’s rich culture, but it also has multiple attractions which are suited for any age bracket, making it a great travel destination for all kinds of people, whether they are adults or kids.  Here are some of the top travel destinations of Tokyo:

Imperial Palace

Who doesn’t love castles and royals? This is the perfect destination for any person who is a history buff and would love to dwell in the countries Imperial past. Surrounded by lush gardens and massive stone walls, this Palace is just a walk away from the Tokyo station and is home to the current Imperial Family of Japan. And if you are in luck and happen to be in Tokyo on 23rd December (Birthday of the Emperor) or on the 2nd of January (New Year’s greeting), then you will also be taken into the inner grounds of the Palace (which are usually not accessible) and you might be able to catch a wave or two from the Royal Family.

Ginza

Did someone say shopping? Well, how can one go to Tokyo and not shop? So if you are into shopping make sure you check out the Ginza area, which not only is the shopping hub of Tokyo but also is home to multiple restaurants, art galleries, and boutiques.

Tokyo National Museum

The oldest Museum of Japan is just an eye opener with it’s amazing collection. It consists of 6 buildings, each of which seems like a separate museum. So it’s like going to 6 different Museums for the price of 1, and who wouldn’t want that?

Tokyo Disneyland

Who doesn’t like getting their kid out once in a while? And the best part is that in Tokyo Disneyland you don’t even need a child with you to unleash your inner child. Based on the American Disneyworld and Disneyland, this theme park has 7 different themed parks inside and hosts a variety of parades all year along, each according to the season or holiday.

So what are you waiting for? Go pack your bags and begin your journey of discovery of how one of the most isolated places in the world, ended up being such a hot spot travel destination. Enjoy!
